About Us

Founded in 1983, the Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is a nonprofit widely recognized as one of the leading professional symphony orchestras in the region. The PSO's mission is to inspire, educate, entertain and involve children, youth and adults in the enjoyment of great music. Under the artistic and musical direction of Maestro Hector Guzman, the PSO produces eight subscription concerts each season alongside a wide range of music education and community engagement programs, reaching more that 100,000 people annually.
