To celebrate the Halloween season, NTPA – PCT is offering a unique Flash Mob Dance Opportunity for families. NTPA choreographer, Tricia Martin will be teach the choreography for Thriller which will be performed as a Flash Mob at the Shops of Willow Bend on Saturday, October 22nd and again at the Monster Bash later that evening. There is no cost to perform in the Thriller Dance and NTPA welcomes all level of dance skills. “I'm really looking forward to the flash mob we're preparing for the Monster Bash. We've wanted to do a flash mob for years. Seeing the kids and the parents performing together is not something we do often, so this will be a chance to bring the whole family together," says Sara Akers, Founder and Executive Director.
About Plano Children’s Theatre
In its 27th year of operations, Plano Children’s Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to developing the character of youth through quality performing arts education and family entertainment. Founded by Sara Egelston Akers, PCT now operates as part of North Texas Performing Arts, last year offering opportunities to more than 4,000 youth ages three to 18 years old to experience the impact of the performing arts through its “learning lab” training process. The NTPA vision is to enable every child, regardless of sex, religion, race, or socio-economic limitation to have the opportunity to enjoy and experience the arts.
